Is that kinda like those 'tapes' of Michelle Obama that were promised to be forthcoming, and so far have not? I actually read on here one day that a tape was supposed to be released later that day. Here it is, one to two weeks later, and what do you know? No tape. Get real. You are grasping at straws. It's really just getting sad now.

Actually, with as many times as conservatives have cried wolf, I doubt that anybody would believe the extreme right-wing conspiracies. And the other thing is, with as inpatient as conservatives have been on getting all the negative news out, why is it that the most devastating information will always be "released later." Now not only do they twist facts, they claim they have facts but don't want to release them now. That's a total change of pace... yah right, we'll see on Monday. Still waiting for that audio recording of Obama's grandmother claiming he was born in Kenya.

Here's the situation Bush, Rove, and company have put themselves in. All things being equal, the President should direct the DOJ to investigate charges of voting fraud. However, all things are not equal. By politicizing the DOJ in 2006, Bush has put in himself in a position where he can't do his job, or even open his mouth for that matter, and not have the American people suspect him of foul play. That's the thing about selling your integrity, once you've sold it nobody wants to buy anything else from you.

while i agree with the sentiment of this letter - i just have to point out that the whole 'red state' characterization is problematic, because it doesn't consider the urban-rural divide. for example, i live in memphis, tennessee. our county voted over 70% for kerry in the last election. i have the 'blue state' values, ideologies, and preferences espoused in the letter - as do most folks in the cities of the southern u.s.

Bush has a soft spot for Ohio. He stole Ohio's electoral votes in 2004 through voter suppression, and wants to do something similar this time for his buddy McCain.
