thinkprogress.org — Two years after writing a law requiring highway ?Welcome to Texas? signs to tout the state as the home of President Bush, state Rep. Ken Paxton [yesterday] passed a bill that will remove the designation once the 43rd president leaves office.

Further proof that Digg is infested with lefty lib tards filled with nothing but hate and anger. Never mind the idiocy of such Presidential greats as Carter and Clinton, if it's Right it's wrong! Bush Lied, People Died...Haliburton....it's about the oil...military industrial complex...such intelligent thoughts.

@crweaks: Spin is any rhetoric that is intended to make a person think in a way that may not be in accordance with truth - thus, sensationalism is a form of spin. What's the harm, you ask? If I tell you there is a pot of gold in the next room and that anyone is free to take it, but fail to mention there is a hungry lion in the very same room, you can certainly see the harm. Think Progress spun a story about a routine legislative process into something that makes it seem like the Texas government is ashamed of Bush, which could or could not be true - and the evidence they used to spin fact favorably towards their argument is pretty irrelevant once someone knows why legislators have to pass a law to change the signs. This is not a criticism against Think Progress - everyone spins stories, it's up to the reader to recognize and unspin it.

And I see Mr. Paxton has an R next to his name. Might he be making this move so as to disassociate the party from the man they so fervently wanted and pushed into office? Methinks they don't like the bed they made for themselves and everyone else, and now feel it prudent to complain about its stiffness...
