The Financial Powers of the world, have an interest in bringing the entire world under their rule. This interest comes from their anti-humanistic ideology (fascism), and the end result will be universal fascism. To achieve this objective, they need a powerful and efficient vehicle to effect power consolidation over recalcitrant and/or geo-strategic regions. That vehicle is the United States Military. The ideology of fascism is a relic of our dark past, and it is ultimately self-defeating because it weakens that which is needed to support it, namely civilisation. It isn't a question of whether we READ the paper, but of whether we're dumb enough to keep believing it doesn't lie. The paper told us that war with Iraq was justified too.
@wakananda I've watched the behavior of police and soldiers lately, that the majority of them would tear up the constitution in a heartbeat has already been proven.
@praxisseizureWhat kind of pressure? People seem to think that politicians are afraid to act against the will of their constituents, that they need to build support before they do something, that they wouldn't dare do something the people are fiercely against. But why exactly does anyone believe this? Why wouldn't a politician go against public opinion? They do it all the time. 10 billion protestors on the white house lawn wouldn't cause them to bat an eyelash. They simply don't care about the American people. Even if the elections weren't fixed, (and that's a huge IF), they'd still rather take the millions from their corporate masters than defy them for a much smaller total salary they would get over the additional 4 years after re-election. So where is this pressure you're talking about?
