americablog.com— Yesterday, an amazing thing happened. After the Senate's shameful vote, and after President Bush called MoveOn "disgusting," our email started to fill up with messages like this one:

Sorry, but social programs and taxes are crucial to a democracy and essential for a republic to exist. Ron Paul says most of what the left agrees with, however he wants the wealthy to have it all, just as the rest of the GOP does. Wealth should never dictate how we as a free people are governed. That's exactly what he proposes. I wish more people would read about taxes and how it works rather than claiming taxes in general is a bad thing. Our police force is funded by collective taxation. Our fire fighters and first responders are tax paid as well, by we the people, so you could say they exist dueIt's an extreme use of the word socialism, however not according to right wingers and republicans alike. Even our military is funded by tax payers, make it socialized, and not privatized, as Bush and his folks hope to achieve: Black Water. They are taking over your collectively funded government bit by bit by privatizing it. You no longer have a say in what they do. Sound like a democracy to you? Oh, we still fund Black water with our tax money, yet we have no say in what they do. Get it?!? Our forefathers warned us about privatization! And not paying taxes is a fable! We now pay more in taxes to bail out the private sector than we do, paying for our infrastructure. Are we the people benefiting as much anymore? NO!You want to live in a Bannana Republic as Ron Paul suggests, look at Mexico. Notice how Mexicans try like hell to work and live here? It's because they live in extreme poverty down there where the wealthy class runs everything, their government is fascist and socialism is forbidden. Wake up folks!
Are you retarded or something? Do you even know what my comment was referring to?Instead of actually working on bi-partisan efforts congressmen loves to say on national TV, our government are playing tug of war with each party. Our media throws out 12 hours a day worth of Television bashing each others, now we have special interest groups doing multi-million fund-raising for TV ads to out slander each other. IF that's not the evidence of a divided nation than I don't know what is. Learned about the civil war when you were a kid? Or apparently too busy making yourself look smart. Fail

So I can see by the digg count either we are plagued by MoveOn spammers or you people are perfectly fine swapping one pack of lies for another?
