washingtonpost.com — President Bush has signed a new National Space Policy that rejects future arms-control agreements that might limit U.S. flexibility in space and asserts a right to deny access to space to anyone "hostile to U.S. interests."

well put nerd. but one question: how does "air superiority" control a country? doesn't that just destroy a country. i guess we can capitalize on space's abundant resources, though...oh wait! rats! space is big, dude, and we'll be extinct before you can live your Battlefield Earth fantasies, so sod off.

I just think its funny that America suddenly thinks we have jurisdiction over the universe. I understand what he's trying to do, but no one is addressing whether he actually has the right to do it. Maybe that's the issue you should be thinking about and not along partisan lines? And how would addressing this issue along the lines of rights/space/national sovereignty not be thinking objectively?

This will all matter a lot less once the US empire collapses.

We are the US. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

Colony version was the beta right? I think we're around the ME version right now waiting for the XP upgrade which is the one where our representatives are still pieces of crap, but us citizens are no longer aware of it. I'm hoping we just reject the upgrade and switch governments, maybe we can switch to that one that's been around as long as representative republic has been around, called like pure democracy (v. Tiger), or maybe that other one where we work as a community called communism (the 2.4 version though because the maintainer of the 2.6 version is retarded).
