smirkingchimp.com — Before leaving office George W. Bush will issue a mass pardon, the largest collection of presidential pardons in American history. Bush will pardon himself, Vice President Cheney, and a long list of officials involved in torture, eavesdropping, destruction of evidence, the CIA leak case and a range of potential crimes.

Uh, he can't pardon anyone that hasn't even been charged with a crime. Libby has already been pardoned, Rove will also be if Congress doesn't bide its time until after the election. Sorry to throw a wet blanket on the hysteria with facts and all. :P

You (clearly) don't understand the mechanics of a pardon and you're make dramatic declarations about it? Your tinfoil hat may be too tight. :)

Libby was not pardoned. His prison sentence was commuted.

"except in cases of impeachment"Does that mean if we impeach the f**ker. He can't pardon people?

Surely this pardon would not be respected? One thing is for sure, they may be pardoned in the US but one step outside of their own country and they will be arrested for crimes against humanity!!! This really is stranger than fiction!!! No one could have written a script for a film anything like this, starting at 9/11 and following the events up to the present time!
