Estimates are that Saddam murdered about 50,000 people. Between the two Gulf Wars and the sanctions, the U.S. has killed AT LEAST 1.7 MILLION, and maybe as many as 3 MILLION. We destroyed most of their hospitals, schools and fresh water supplies. They were much better off under Saddam.
