"what a dick time to impeach, and imprison" — well, then DO it. What about democracy, in all it's glory, that this nation is bringing to all parts of the world (by force, if necessary)? Bush's ratings are so low, it would appear more Americans believe in the existence of space aliens than support the president. So how come he and all those others crooks ar still in power? Could it be, despite all the denying, they already got this system so corrupted, that even with the low polls, the scandals piling up to heavens like a pile of s**t and the overall damage they did (to the US alone), they still are able to cling to their seats of power? Cry for impeachment all you want. Cry for imprisonment. I'm with you. But all that internet activity won't do much i'm afraid when it comes to finally remove those bastards. That requires real action.(though i' not saying that internet can't move something. It's powerful, no denying that)
By far the most telling part in this clip was (A)"there is still an enemy that would like to attack us, (A2)no matter how calm it may seem here at home in America, an enemy lurks, and they would like to strike...." (B)"These aren't just empty words, they are the words of Al queda themselves".(A) once again pulling the fear card, "the sky is falling the sky is falling" however people are starting by and large to open their eyes, as the apparent falling sky has yet to fall. As such a qualifying statement must be included. (A2) The qualifying statement: "no matter how calm it may seem here at home in America, an enemy lurks" So we qualify our apparent lack of threat, by addressing the fact there is nothing visibly threatening anywhere in this nation, while also adding that the "enemy lurks" which is to say said enemy is hidden, and out of view, obfuscated as it were, yet said enemy wants to attack us, so we have to flush this enemy out...(B) This section is just clearly another way of saying, "I have this information on good authority, one which I will not tell you about, but trust me its true."It is also easy for one to make bold blanket statements without backing up their claims with any evidence, be it situational, physical, or even abstract by simply restating the demands, or grievances of ones supposed enemy. In the end its all just so much Rhetoric, repeated over and over with no evidence, no concrete findings, no actual enemy to be seen by the public who must be shielded form them. In other words, it just another load of crap coming form the white house.Yet, we still have people signing away their lives to go join up and fight the "terrorists" Iraq and Afghanistan, I would think by now even the most poorly educated, mentally deficient individuals would have caught on. I guess I put too much faith in people once again.
Why are you 30%ers still in denial about the illegalities of the Bush administration? There is so much to choose from: illegal wars, election gerrymandering, illegal political moves (DC Attorney scandal), not to mention the wiretapping which Bush had a perfectly legitimate LEGAL way to get the wiretaps he wanted but STILL went the illegal route. The fact that he admits it and defends it says alot about Bush. Even he knows he's done illegal stuff, he just expects to get off because he's the most powerful person in the world right now. It seems you are the only one who hasn't yet realized the magnitude of Bush's crimes. The only way you could have not known all of this is if you got all of your news from fox. In that case I pity you, and I'm sorry I had to wrench your little arm and drag you into the unforgiving light of reality, if only for a few moments.
BTW, where does it say anywhere that Ashcroft was comatose, sedated, or even on any drugs? Just curious, since I didn't see it in the article.Again, what law was broken? Don't confuse legislation and ethics, they mostly don't mix! :)

@blaze4metalThe only problem is that with alcoholics, 1 or 2 drinks quickly turns into 8 or 9. And that's no way to drive the country.
