usatoday.com — Amid falling gas prices and a two-week drive to highlight his administration's efforts to fight terrorism, President Bush's approval rating has risen to 44% in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. That's his highest rating in a year.

Clockw0rk "Only in america could such a collosal failure be adored by near half the average populace because of small favors and short term memory."You really shouldn't talk about Bill Clinton that way - he is out of office - give him a break.

fbriggs"Bush is the worst president ever. "Many think Bill Clinton was the worst president ever - he turned the longest running expansion (that started under Bush the Elder) into a recession, he did nothing while terrorists were attacking America and American assets, Osama said he decided to do 911 after Bill Clinton's defeat and retreat in Somalia because he said it showed America was a paper tiger (I think the truth was Bill Clinton was a paper tiger)At least Bush takes action - Bill Clinton did little to nothing in his 8 years of sex with employees in the White House. Please tell me this was satire and it just went over my head. Please for the love of god don't try and say clinton was a terrible president. What expansion? He created it. Unfortunately I'm rather lazy and don't feel like going to 12,000 websites gathering enough data to make you even begin to drop your prejudice against the man because he showed he was mortal. You seriously need to go look at the numbers for the 90,s and how they rose up until about 2000-2001. And don't pass the fall on September 11th, since last time I checked 9/11 2001 didn't ask for a "wartime against new islamic fascism" taxcut. dear god

I think the last time I recieved a 44% it was an F on a test. But... Who cares... the president made his way from scoring in the 20's to 40's.... ohhh ahhhh awesome!!!!!! That's some curve I guess. I think I'll vote for the Republicrats instead of the Demopublicans now!!!! Er uh....Red instead of Blue. Well, whatever the TV tells me I guess.

"This site which shows most polls and a two week average--on a graph--is a better reflection of what I want to be true."Fix'd. Just thought I'd help out.

Because most of the posters here aren't concerned with accuracy. They said it was inaccurate because they didn't like the fact that his approval ratings are going up.
