thinkprogress.org — Surgeon General nominee James Holsinger appeared before a Senate panel on July 12. But the committee still has not received a response to a follow-up questionnaire it sent Holsinger three months ago. The delay "leaves open the possibility" that Holsinger may "get the job through a 'recess appointment' by Bush."

This guy probably thinks everyone else in the country is as much a latent homosexual as he is. To them it's totally normal for everyone to feel gay, you just have to train yourself to repress it.

Here's maybe a dumb question: why doesn't Congress just vote NO on this clown and get it over with? The only reason Bush got away with his recess appointment last spring was because he tricked Congress (read: lied in writing) into canceling their pending vote (which would have failed) after pretending to withdraw the nominee. If Congress just sends this one down in flames (so to speak), then Bush can't recess appoint a nominee who has been actively rejected, can he?

What happened to the Democrat's strategy of limiting all future congressional breaks to less than 10 days? That would prevent Bush from making any more recess apppointments.http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/041107L.shtml

Excuse us for laughing at you, but this is America, not Iran. If you want to hate gays, perhaps you should move to one of the Arab nations that Bush keeps insisting are our "allies". You sound like you'd fit right in.
