cbsnews.com— George Bush no longer has the power, credibility or ability to effectively govern for the rest of his term in office.

If we are being governed by a lame duck, what that makes the rest of us? lame chicks? If there was a shred of justice or freedom in this country, Bush would step down out of good will. But I guess he loves power much to stay committing crimes against humanity. I wonder what Saddam thinks of this in his grave right now???
@Tekkie 01Ummmmm.....have you ever heard the phrase "The land and the king are One?!"I am so sick and tired of people giving these ass hats a pass on everything, the point of my post is for a man and cabinet who every breath they took for the last 6 years reminded us they were the ones to lead, IE: "I'm the decider" and the assurances that they were "on top of it" and in complete and utter control."Bring it On" ring a bell?To state that holding someone accountable when the s**t hits the fan on their watch is somehow unfair just because they happened to be in office when it occurred is utter lunacy! They {the administration} wanted power .fought like hell to get it .They ran roughshod over every principle they could to justify it and now it's unfair to hold them accountable when everything goes t**s up?If one is elected to a post HE/SHE is responsible for what happens while they occupy that post.Bill Clinton hemmed and hawed while the republicans flicked lit matches at him for 8 years and then he finally went on national TV after he began to smolder a little finally and ADMITTED he'd done the deed.I am not his biggest fan,but at the very minuscule least HE took responsibility for his frig-gin' actions.I have yet to see this president hold anyone or anything accountable for anything that has gone wrong under his watch.NOT ONE THING.....NOT ONE!That is what happens when you are elected president.JFK took responsibility for the Bay of Pigs.LBJ took responsibility for Vietnam .Nixon even eventually took responsibility and resigned. All except Bush. And THAT was my point. You know who doesn't get to start fresh in 08?Over 3000 dead US soldiers and those who lost everything in Katrina.
