apparently it seems like MS ha had them holed up in a cave coding away at halo games. but if you know the awesomeness of marathon and myth, im pretty sure you knew that already. =)
Do you remember in Marathon, the protagonist would occasionally log in to terminals and read long blocks of text that seemed like non sequiturs? The text described cybernetically enhanced soldiers placed on the original Marathon colony ship (and elsewhere) to protect the civilians in case of trouble. These cyborg soldiers could withstand tons of damage while dishing out plenty of punishment. They were capable of interfacing with sophisticated guardian AIs, too.Sound familiar? :)
Though I've never been a huge fan of the halo Series (Not that its a bad game, its a good game just not the "best" game!) I think that this is a good move on Bungie's part and I can't wait to see what they think of next. Hopefully, something good. =)

$300 million says Bungie doesn't care.
