Yeah, that one sure brings back memories. I remember finding the clipper in my parents' closet a few days before I got it from "Santa"...Man, those were the days, back when the toy canons actually did something!
Agreed. Our young child has recently discovered Lego. It's now as though nothing else exists in the world, even TV! We are amazed at how he can express his creativity. The only downside is his nails are getting ripped to shreds as he tries to separate the tiny blocks. That's something we all have to go through, son. You're not a man if haven't had Lego-builder nails. It's worth it in the end.
This was such a great flashback moment. Apparently some of the lego kits that I got from my parents are actually from the 1970's, I still have them all. Funny thing is, I wasn't even born until 1979. I guess my dad really loved Lego too.thanks for this awesome post

To this day, I'm thankful my parents never bought me knex. it was Lego all the way.
