wnd.com — Elliott, in a telephone interview, told WND an amendment submitted by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, for the Department of Homeland Security 2008 budget would gut the already-approved Secure Fence Act, which was adopted with the promise hundreds of miles of physical fencing would help secure the U.S. border with Mexico.

This is exactly the type of treatment that we deserve. The secure fence act was passed with no idea of implementation. It was simply a way of placating those of us who are worried about border security. The politicians are playing with us. They don't want secure borders and never have. The Secure Fence Act was our leaders way of stuffing a dirty rag in our mouths to shut us up while they plan other more expensive pork barrel acts that will do nothing for the security of the United States. We voted for them so I guess we deserve them.

K. Bailey seems to be willing to do what ever the Bushwacker wants done to insure the United States becomes a Third World Country for their "elitist contributors"!!!!
