I thought it was widely agreed that the reason for using Firefox, besides better browser construction and features (but still a memory hog) was that relatively few people used it, so it was impractical for hackers to design viruses for it. Security by obscurity, so to speak. Since IE is shipped with Windows, by far most internet users would be using some version of IE, and that's why it was the main target of virus creators. ASSUMING that this graph is accurate, it would seem that 38% of people use some form of IE, while 48% use Firefox. Time to switch to Chrome?
