The New York Times, like most Judeo-liberal newspapers, has a tendency to go with the exception instead of the rule, especially when it supports their anti-majoritarian program. They cherry-pick a handful of illegals who claim to have not committed any crimes here (except illegal colonization and identity theft, of course), and paint them all as law-abiding, tax-paying 'undocumented workers' yearning for a peace of the American dream. Likewise, if one out of a thousand citizens concerned about the massive crime rates and culture change brought about by millions of illegal immigrants invading the country and turning it into a replica of the failed state they came from happens to hold (benign) racist views, the Times smears all critics of *illegal* immigration as xenophobic bigots.
