news.yahoo.com — ..."either you give me my helmet, welcome back, or release me, or attempt to trade me. We all know that's a possibility, but way-out-there possibility" ...apparently now, they're trying to protect my legacy by bringing me back and having me be a backup. Boy, that is really good.".

The big knock on Favre is that his age is "finally catching up". If he played like a top 10 QB last season, which was (by definition) the oldest he has ever been, then maybe it was his supporting cast that hurt him the previous 4 seasons more than age.I'm sick of him and I think he should stay retired, but he is still competitive at his age.

I would say that it's a stereotype that all of us Mississippians own tractors, but then I remembered that I mowed the lawn with mine just today...

And be like Joe Namath, or the late Johnny Unitis? No, Brett, your reputation is too good to see it trashed in that fashion! Learn the lessons of the history of the game, Brett! I know you miss it terribly, the first year everybody does! It takes a while to re-define yourself! After all, this has been your whole life since 5th or 6th grade! Now your life has to be something else, and you haven't figured out yet what that is! You still have plenty of time, but you need to start working on it! Have a good retirement Brett, and I, among others will support a first-year-of-eligibility Hall Of Fame admission!

Not when this is the third year in a row when this has happened, and he virtually strung them up to Training Camp Eve last year.

Would love to see this. Would love to see Favre kick there arse.
