irvinebrown.com — "This is a standard remote control toy car with a mouthpiece the player blows into to control steering. The car measures controlled change – blow gradually harder and it steers to the right; blow gradually softer and it steers to the left."

Thats a retarded Idea.... the only use I can think for it is to put a breathalizer in it and give it to a drunk for a Sobriety test.

Wow so many people who didn't read the article. It's for musicians who want to learn to control their breathing better. Would've helped tons of people at my high school figure out that not all notes should be as loud as you can possibly make them. Trust me, if you don't sing or play a wind instrument then you're gonna miss the point of this completely.

Too bad Christopher Reeve wasn't around to see this. Someday he could have driven again!

This is actually, the coolest thing I've seen in a while. If you RTFA, you'll see how the notes are translated to tracks. Now I don't play any instrument, but that fact that you can transcrbe a piece of music into a car track... that's just wacky.

This toy blows.

You can't use an actual instrument for that? I did read the article, but I think it's a relatively dumb idea. If you want to learn how to play the flute (or other wind instrument) you should practice playing the flute, not blowing into some tube to steer a toy car. I don't think that you can really translate directly between an instrument and this toy. I'm sure it can help someone control his or her breathing better, but so can a lot of other things which don't require this completely unnecessary gadget.
