engadget.com — The Chinese language Economic Daily News is reporting that Pegatron, an OEM subsidiary of ASUS, has won the order from Microsoft to assemble the Xbox 360 with Blu-ray Disc ROM drive -- shipments are expected to being in Q3 of this year.

That's my point. That's exactly why Sega's hardware sales suffered during the days of the Saturn. Not a good business move.

Ive never noticed it. Unless you play Ultra Quite 2000 or some game I dont know about, you will never hear it. Just Sony fanboys making a big deal of nothing.Im playing GTA4 right now and well, what xbox 360 console? Oh that thing under my TV where the game is at?

When I bought an original xbox - the 360 was released a month or two later. They dropped the original quickly. Hardly any new games came out for it after that :(Doubtful they will try that again as they have more 360 in the wild - but just be warned. IF 720 does come out soon....
