People watching hockey games at home go to the bathroom. It has a bath in it. The Men's room is outside the home and has no shower - Bars, Restaurants etc. A washroom is also a public toilet. Not sure where you grew up but that's the way it is west of Toronto. We just know how to use English.
Yes and GB got one medal But a great one at that. True amateur stuff. "Go to the bathroom". "Men's room". "Ladies Room" ....oh dear.........Small room, toilet, for a pee, loo. or good old lavatory;;;;;;; but please not "Bathroom".
I Am CanadianRestroom = Only heard on american televisionBathroom = Sometimes works, but what about in a restaurant? Washroom = Seems to be most appropriate, and most used around here.
