"I'm hoping it has to do with those glass tubes that were spotted a while back. Even if they're not alien-made, it would still be interesting to know what natural process made them."Oh shut the f**k up. There are no "glass tubes" on Mars. Geologists conclusively proved they are sand dunes sitting at valley bottoms and formed by winds. Why on earth you are getting diggs for bringing this bulls**t up is beyond me. It took me all of two seconds on Google to find the answer. As it's been said many times, bulls**t travels faster than truth.Richard Hoagland and his cronies are so full of s**t and utterly misguided we'd be back in the stone age scientifically if any serious scientist paid him any heed. Richard looked like a plum idiot when higher resolution photos of the "face" on Mars were released and they revealed......that there was/is no face. What a f**king shock. Can we please place all these Mars conspiracies in the dustbin along with "free" energy, oil company conspiracies, black helicopters, Roswell, etc. ? We are dumbing down the human race with all their bulls**t.
Water found. I hope at least some of you are watching the press conference. Maybe I am just the biggest dork in the room. Wouldn't be the first time.Evidence of water found, not 1,000,000 years ago - but now. Now. Water. On Mars. EOM!
No at least two dorks...Water, and at multiple sites too...now we need a probe to specifically watch what is going on.The other significant find was current impact event activity observed on Mars (multiple impacts) ... oh and that apparently 75% of NASA scientists have beards.
Water?...Or is it a debris trail "created" by one of the Mars Rovers when it got a "little too close" to the crater's edgeAnything for more Funding, I suppose...

Sounds like it might be an announcement about a discovery of flowing water on Mars:http://cbs5.com/topstories/local_story_340020925.htmlThat's all Google News would give me.

Well, it's nice that the MGS can exit on a song. I think it's a bit of a loss for the robot population of the red planet.

How long until we see property on Mars up for sale?
