CNET hasn't "sucked" about much in my view, in fact they provided the largest collection of reviews on consumer electronics of any site I know of.The question on my mind is if this will be another TechTV takeover or a flickr takeover? Will they absorb the brand and ruin it or leave it alone and let it do its own thing?
It's an insult to both CBS and CNET.Personally I don't even think Fox News is as biased as CNET. Every time I see an anti-Google story on Digg, it's from CNET and pretty much full of crap.
This is very true. Those days started to trickle away around the introduction of The Real World. It wasnt until a few years later right around when Beavis and Butthead went off the air that they got all faggy with the shows. I really miss those days. Didnt MTV2 used to be only videos after they screwed up MTV? That has a bunch of crap on it now too doesnt it?
Nice acquisition but i cannot say if this is a good acquisition. Let us just wait for 120 days and test if the acquisition had really help CBS Interactive.
