reuters.com — 1.2 million Brazilian women have been hospitalized in the last five years with infections, vaginal bleeding and other complications resulting from illegal abortions, said a report presented by health experts on Wednesday. Brazil's health minister, Jose Temporao, pledged Monday to introduce a wider debate on liberalizing abortion.
