depth perception provided by 2 eyes is a MINOR part of overall depth perception. the 'perceived' depth perception is what we rely on in day to day situations, as the numerous examples provided support. You must also consider that the depth perception provided by having two eyes really only works well for things up close and worse for things farther away.
I did some research on the brain during my master's thesis, and I can only say that half of these points are inaccurate. The other half is true with some modification.Buried as inaccurate.
