offbeatink.com — Interesting article on the creation and usage of braille style tattoos for specifically for blind people. Article highlights the intended use of braille tattoos on the hand so blind people can recognize each other but the problems associated with this.

no kidding. Why is the lack of actual comment-content on this particular thread so bad? I mean, usually there are at least one or two interesting or insightful questions or comments by now. Either somebody is really f**king dedicated to getting their blog posting pageranked (making all those sockpuppets must be time-consuming...) or they have an army of gullible, manipulable friends. To anybody else who just got "caught up in the moment": never post a comment that just says "cool" or "neat" or "lame" or any other sort of monosyllabic equivalent to "yes/no this is cool". That is what the digg button is for.sort of sad, since the article itself is actually one of the more unique front-pagers; I would have expected a good comment thread out of it.

That's fantastic. Don't have to be disadvantaged in their ability to act like rednecks.

Tattoos for the blind? A-mazing! I cannot wait to SHOW this article to my blind uncle who has been looking for better ways of expressing his love for building and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
