I speak fluent Polish. The Greeting and ending is Polish. Polish is a Slavic language, as is Russian, Serbian and many other languages. I don't know for sure that it will translate into Russian. Some Russian words are similar, some are not.
I really want to like Borat/Ali G/Sacha Baron Cohen, but I can't get past the idea that he's just Yakov Smirnov with a slightly different accent... and, try as I might to like his stuff, jokes that aren't much funnier.
