figures...until last week I was content with my 512. This week I bought 3 1gb pen drives.damn it. Stupid one-up-man-ship.So here's an idea. How about an install on one USB and maybe use the second as a temp/virtual memory/scratch/storage/Home folder drive?
HOw do i do this? You need to replace the following files:/mach_kernel by semthex SSE3 or SSE2 kernel/System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlateform.kext/System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMBIOS.kext

TigerDirect currently has a 2 GB flash drive for $9.99 after mail-in rebates. I already bought one of these and really like it.http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2573758&CatId=0Expires December 12, 2006.
