sports.espn.go.com— Apparently prepared to leave the Bay Area, free agent Barry Bonds has instead agreed in principle to stay with the San Franciso Giants, MLB.com reported Thursday night.

I was at Giants-Dodger game at Dodger Stadium a couple years ago and they threw a blow-up beach-ball-like steroid bottle on the field at Barry in left field (likely not the only time). Barry just looked at as it rolled around the outfield..."STEROIDS" in big letters on it...so funny. The crowd in the left field bleachers and the 3rd base field area were chanting ROIDS! ROIDS! ROIDS! I don't think it even bothered him.I hate Barry, he's cheater.
Then what the hell would be the point in playing the game? If you play to win, then how can you justify spending that much on players or on a stadium or anything?
I definitely think he should retire! He is WAY past the point of being an asset to the game! I don't think he should be given the chance to break Hank Aaron's record! I don't think he has truly earned it. Any player who can't sustain their career without artificial means isn't a true athlete. He has given baseball and the real men that play it a bad name. I will never be a fan of the Giants because they are fueling a fire that badly needs put out. Hopefully this will all backfire and Aaron will keep his record that he so rightfully earned during a time when baseball players had natural talent.

Does that include an allowance for steroids?

He brings them into SBC park. He can also hit the ball. That's better than a lot of people in the MLB.

Well, you have to remember how much steroids cost, plus the cost of paying off a dealer that wont talk. It adds up so fast

The guy does not deserve 16 cents for the season. He cheated. He is arrogant. He's a jerk.
