The wünderengine—developed by the Ford Motor Company—went for three days under a simulated 65,000-feet flight, which is definitely better than a Taurus.

One important overlooked piece of info is $$$$$$. I can only imagine how much this technology cost and how much of our tax money is going for similar projects. I question if it's worth it; I don't know that answer?
