Because overall, our health insurance system works. You are taking a few cases of bureaucratic snafus (oh that never happens when government runs things...they forget they put a nuclear weapon on a plane for Christ's sake) and making it out to be more rampant than it is.

This is an egregious example, but what about all those denial of payment by Blue Cross who don't make the media? It's really bad. I know. They refused to pay my bill and the people you appeal work for the company. It's a racket.

My sister is a doctor and she is leaving South Carolina. Many people think that doctors are rich, she made last year $130,000 and has to pay a lot for malpractice and student loans. The nasty insurance company I worked for paid them multimillion dollar salaries. They are usually out playing golf and all they would tell me was to reject claims.
