Cute--but they'd do better to change their diet. In fact, we all would be better to change our diets. That means NO sugar, NO high-fructose corn syrup--and for those struggling with diabetes, NO flour or anything made from it. It also means reading the ingredients--and when they LEAD OFF with sugar, you know you've got a problem.

Temlakos, I agree that diet can really change the face of the diabetes epidemic in this nation, and refined flour goes hand-in-hand. But that does not take away from this being an awesome alternative to the millions of people who suffer daily with the traditional methods of checking their sugar. My elderly mother is one of them, and if this makes her old age a little easier, then thank God for allowing it to be discovered! Thanks for submitting this, bronxman!

You need sugars to live, they are part of a well balanced diet. It's all about moderation and the types of sugar you consume. Besides for most diabetics it isn't about how much sugar they consume, but how their body handles the sugar. Bloodless testing would be a welcome site for the millions that have to test on a regular basis.
