bloggerforum.com — Google's Blogger & Blogspot services have been experiencing major outages since Thurs. Feb. 2nd making many popular blogs inaccessible. Since Google provides no support, frustrated users have been flocking to the Bloggerforum.

Don't mess with the Chinese. Or the Germans.

I use Blogger with my own FTP webspace, and haven't noticed any problems at all.

It really amazes me the number of bloggers that are posting complaints about this story all the while using such poor grammar and spelling. Surely you don't expect anybody to read or respect your opinion if you can't get a simple, well formed sentence on the page. Do you? We can only hope that this event annoys you enough that you'll quit wasting all those electrons. They have feelings to you know.

>Dude, 90% of the time it's some dude's "blog" linking to a story elsewhere. The dude submits a digg article linking to his own "blog". MAYBE YOU CAN SUBSCRIBE TO THE RSS FEED WHILE YOU'RE THERE. THEN YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PAGER BEEP YOU WHEN HE MAKES A NEW POST!I hate it. This s**t needs to go the way of webrings and the term "cyberspace".

okay, digg removed my commented post. i was replying to this post:*** "Wake up people, only bloggers read blogs..... And deep down they're only interested in their own."I'd have to disagree with this statement. I'm not a huge blog fan either, but it seems like half the stories posted on Digg are from someone's blog, and we all read and digg them... ***

LAdies, the blogger.com has been screwed up since at least the last server "upgrade" on March 25th. And there is NO mention of it nor the complaints in support group (og whcih there is never anyone running blogger visiting).LOTS of ftp problems.

Wordpress is free, most of us that have blogs also have our own sites, and if Wordpress was down, we'd be just as pissed.BEsides, wordpress can password protect specific blogs, Blogger Pro cant even do that.

Aug. 22nd 2007 - Another HUGE blogger outage - Ask the Admin is on top of it, they're using their Wordpress account to let the blogging world know what the status is - stay up to the second at http://asktheadmin.wordpress.com/2007/08/22/great-blogger-outage-of-2007-asktheadmin-is-down-%e2%80%93-so-you-are-probably-not-reading-this/ . Definitely a big help considering all of Blogger's status sites are hosted by Blogger. A Catch-22 if you ask me
