My wife is a doctor. I told her about this story and she reacted like it was old news. She scares me sometimes -- what other hoards of bizarre conditions and procedures must she have swirling around in her mind??
sorry but I think any of us put in this situation would take our independence over our appearance. being totally blind is quite inconvenient in terms of everyday activities. even a little bit of blurry vision can make numerous tasks a lot easier.although some things like echolocation would be useful too. find a urinal in a filthy public restroom, seeing it or finding by echolocation is vastly superior to having to feel around for it.

I can't be the only to check and recheck and double recheck that this wasn't from the onion, am I?

God damn tubs of white hot aluminum always exploding in people's faces. Well, it turns out the man with the tooth eye is having the last laugh!

On a serious note, could that tooth get a cavity and what would be the implications?
