i try to think of my life without being able to see how beautiful this world can be. i find it heartbreaking that he could never physically see anything, but i feel deep down that although he couldnt see with his eyes, he was able to see everything he needed to with his heart. thats how his songs came out. he let it all out when he was in roadhouse. just total passion in his music.

Saw him at Thursday in the Square here in Buffalo a couple of years back. He put on an incredible show, up until then I never knew he was blind.R.I.P.
