observer.guardian.co.uk— Tony Blair agreed to commit British troops to battle in Iraq in the full knowledge that Washington had failed to make adequate preparations for the postwar reconstruction of the country.

Let me get this straight: The war IS over, and there's no plan for it? Or the war is NOT winnable? Please pick one.Is it too much to ask the devoutly Liberal press to limit their mythologies to those that are NOT mutually exclusive?
@fascistusa1By the way, if being a "Corporate Employee" makes you a Fascist, then you truthers are up against quite the army there, considering almost every American works for a company...Also, I like how you have revealed yourself as not just anti-Israel, which could be legitimate, but antisemitic, as you labeled Jews as part of the "fascist" group (which in itself is ironic, considering Nazi Germany was fascist...)
Yes, there was and is a plan for the reconstruction of Iraq. First, you secure the Ministry of Oil, and let everything else go to hell. Then, you install a government that is "an ally in the war on terror," that is to say, one that will make nice to Israel, and one that will pass a petroleum law that allows US and British multinational oil companies to exploit on very favorable terms Iraqi oil reserves. If those two goals are unattainable (as now seems the case), initiate hostilities with Iran and Syria. After enough "creative destruction" ensues, move in to pick up the pieces. The Pax Americana will then extend throughout the oil rich Middle East, thereby beating the Chinese to all that crude while at the same time making the Greater Israel crowd very happy. It hasn't worked so far, but Bush, Cheney and their Ziocon friends are damned persistent. And don't worry, if Dubya doesn't manage to pull it off before his term in office ends, you can bet either Rudy McRomney or Hillary Clobama will finish the job.
Arguing that Israel is fascist seems like quite a stretch, but I'd be willing to listen to it. However, how in the world did you decide that all Jews are fascists? Have you ever met a Jewish person in real life? I was not calling you antisemitic for criticizing the media, which you seem very against, but for calling all Jews fascists, which is obvious antisemitism to me.

There's no question that Tony Blair deserves to be tried in the same war crimes tribunal as George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
