cnn.com — Despite what you'll read in about half a dozen other stories submitted in the last hour: "No immunity deal was offered to Blackwater USA guards for their statements regarding a shootout in Iraq last month that left 17 Iraqi civilians dead, a senior State Department official told CNN Tuesday."

You're absolutely right, it is SOP for this administration to commit atrocities of varying severity and then ask for a 'do over' when they get caught. It's no wonder our nation has lost all credibility, we have a president with the maturity of a spoiled twelve year old

MSNBC have been telling us the truth on 9/11 for the past six years. Got a problem with that? Provide some evidence to support your paranoid delusional f**ktardery, please.

Regardless, they were offered limited immunity from the incident which is most controversial right now, the deaths of the 17 Iraqi civilians. They were also offered retroactive immunity (according to the official speaking on NPR last night) from anything they may have said that would incriminate them. The officials who granted them immunity may or may not have had the power to do so, but it seems that it could easily be a moot point. They still have incredible backing from the state department, and the department of defense, which is just as good in itself. I'm sure they'll not have to deal with any retribution or accountability, and when the heat rises from the Iraqi parliament, government officials will just pull Blackwater (the official company at least) out of Iraq, and call it a done deal.
