Anyone have an archive of this story.. since the article was posted they have cut out some of the details that were clearly not tech-reviewed and changed the title.. I am writing to the author and will be writing my own post in response to this terrible and misleading "journalism".
I have not yet played with the Storm but I have to say that I have a similar theory. RIM is pretty dedicated to releasing quality hardware. While a few bugs are completely expected in a new device and it is absolutely acceptable to fix these with a future firmware upgrade -- I have to think that somehow Verizon is mucking things up a bit on their end.If not then why do people claim to have drastically better response times and significantly less lag once they disable the VZW navigator?
