youtube.com — "These clouds seemed to be glowing or somewhat luminous and seemed to resemble some characteristics of the Auroras. I guess they were formed by some kind of charged particles released from the powerful seismic events below. "

They dropped the two atomic bombs on a nation we were at war with, to avoid invading the japanese mainland. This is simply an earthquake.

I never said it was implausible, just that there is no demonstrated phenomenon that cannot be explained by simple confirmation bias. Anecdotal evidence is extremely sensitive to logical failings like confirmation biases. As they say, the pleural of anecdote is anecdotes, not data or evidence.I find it totally plausible that some animals might be able to sense coming earthquakes. I'm not discarding the idea, I'm simply stating that there is no evidence of such a phenomenon actually occurs. When there exists actual data (not anecdotes) I'll change my mind.

Remember the Tsunami that killed 200,000 several years ago at Christmastime ? That was caused by an earthquake under the Indian Ocean. Wonder if anyone saw or recorded these kinds of unusual "clouds" then too. DARPA has been very busy with many "special projects", so somebody knows if there is a connection. Threat of death of self and family is a strong inducement to stay silent,

Sharky, sharky, listen, that link really did not provide much at all. It actually was basically meaningless, and did not support your point one bit. And just who do you mean when you say "you people"? Skeptics? Because I was always under the impression that skepticism is what keeps the bunk at bay.

I am pretty sure that's Ted Nugent.

problem: there were no stratus clouds in the sky. Further, there are good, pre-existing explanations of how this phenomenon relates to earthquakes, going all the way back to Aristotle. If this happened and then people started saying it was linked you all might have a point, but this has been predicted over millennia.Further, this happened in two separate locations at to different times over the earthquake area. Hundreds of kilometers apart and 20 minutes apart in CLEAR skies.

This phenomenon has been recorded since before Christ:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earthquake_lightdon't be so skeptical. And this was almost certainly HAARP.
