torrentfreak.com — BitLet is a cute web-based Java applet that allows you to download .torrent files on a computer that doesn't have a BitTorrent client installed. Very useful if you want to share a torrent with your BitTorrent illiterate friends, or if you're on a computer that doesn't have a BitTorrent client installed.

No one in their right minds would use the words "cute" and "Java applet" in the same sentence. Death to Java applets!

quick noob question - my grad school in Japan blocks the downloading of torrent files & whenever i run bittorrent (after having someone send me the torrent file ;) , my speeds are 0 so i assume somehow they block bittorrent as well. i have a feeling this won't help get past that, huh?

Let's not and say we did. The majority of Facebook users use their real identities. Somehow, I don't think people will be jumping on this app.
