Kotor 2 wasn't even made by Bioware.

After SOE nerfed Star Wars Galaxies the franchise needs a new MMORPG that people actually want to play!

They haven't learned from the mistakes they've made in Madden or NCAA Football, what's to say they'll learn here?

If this is true, this can be very exciting.<a class="user" href="http://3615-mavie.blogspot.com/2007/10/mmo-kotor.html">http://3615-mavie.blogspot.com/2007/10/mmo-kotor.h ...</a>

The KotOR Universe is perfect for an Star Wars MMO setting, simply because the writers constantly don't have to observe "Anakin Clauses" (i.e. ensuring that no character can become as powerful as Anakin Skywalker) nor do they have much predetermined lore to dodge. Whilst I am indeed sad that this will potentially mean the end of the traditional KotOR franchise, I'm confident in BioWare's ability to storyweave, structure and deliver. Of course there should be concern over EA holding the reigns, but I hope that the BioWare guys have a solid backbone and won't take any excessive pressure over anything. All in all, 2009 could be an interesting year.

i really hope they make it a sandbox type game like SWG (pre nge) and UO. But from a business standpoint, i think this would be a bad idea. plus, the champion of sandbox games (raph kostner) is doing his own project. I don't like it, but I'm sure this will be a wow-type, quest-based game.
