What ever sort of f**kwit Bush is, the American public voted for him. The problem is that the Christian right will support any moron who espouses fundamentalist views. Then you get the corrupt businesses that fund politicians who will allow them to rewrite laws to suit them, Enron being a case in point. Then the sheer cost of running elections means that all have to surrender their ethics and morals at the door because they need funding from one group or another. such as the NRA. All of which means that only those with a clean past get through the election past and many good candidates get sidelined along the way.
Not sure if this is funny or not. An older rural church here in Loudoun VA had "George Bush - Gods Candidate" on their Church Sign during the last Presidential election cycle.
If Bush hadn't f**ked up so much, we wouldn't be so polarized right now, and you might get an even set of political posts/diggs. Most commentary from the right is still backing Bush's wildly unpopular platform of continuing this war, so most people don't digg these things up. Another reason is that people who once backed this administration's policies have realized that they are flawed (as evidenced by the President's approval rating).Don't you worry... 10 years from now, after the democrats hold all of the power for a while, they'll be just as unpopular and you'll see the same crap happen again in the other direction (which is why we should all aspire to have a mixed government). And just like the crazies on the right point to Clinton, you'll see lefties pointing to the precedent set by Bush when they get caught with their pants down.
That happens in every thread... people who enter Mac areas and even jokingly suggest that there might be something wrong with anything Apple related get dugg down heavily. Same with 9/11 conspiracy threads, same with right leaning threads, same with gun rights threads...If you enter a thread where the majority of the people digging it are from the opposite opinion of you, you're not going to be able to have your point heard. I kind of wish digg wouldn't hide unpopular comments automatically, because it promotes the "la, la, la I can't hear you" kind of attitude. There is nothing wrong with hearing contrary opinions.
It's so hard watching Bill Maher pretend that Bush is an idiot. Bush doesn't believe anything he's saying. Bush is a puppet of the world banks that control America. He has been told to keep the war going for as long as possible so that the civil war destroys the country, the world banks install their taxation constitution, and all the contractors make a buck on the side. This is about destroying a country so they have to borrow money at 1000% interest from the world banks to rebuild. Once taxed that's it. The middle-east will be slaves for the rest of eternity. America will have once again done the dirty work for the European own and operated banks that control the USA. Dismiss this as a lie today, and remember you once heard the truth decades before it hit you.

Bill Maher wasn't making opinions, they were attacks. There's a difference.

Bush is a pathological optimist.
