I disagree. My favorite bike is my singlespeed. It's amazing to ride and I feel I get a better work-out. Sure I can't do much spinning, but I haven't had as much fun on a bike since I was a kid. Plus no one's going to steal my beat up singlespeed, so I can actually use it as transportation as well. Although in a race situation... yes I can imagine gears would be important :)Hills can be more challenging... but isn't that the point?
Carbon nano anything were released to the market with no health testing at all and it has lately been shown that nano carbon irreversibly bonds to human DNA ! causing what? nobody knows! But because this is not required to be tested we are proudly once again the free lab rats
