breitbart.com — Yankees lefty Randy Johnson has a herniated disc in his lower back, an injury that could prevent him from pitching in the playoffs next week. The injury was discovered during an MRI exam Thursday. After being examined by team physician Dr. Stuart Hershon and back specialist Dr. Paul Kuflick, Johnson received an epidural injection Friday.

IDK if we NEED him really. With our offense we just need someone to go out there and give up less than 7 runs.

People still watch baseball?

I don't think we really need him, we just need a solid pitcher that will give us 7ish innings of somewhat good pitching. Our offense can help along the way (obviously), but the finish is all about our bullpen.

Even high level athletes get herniated discs like the rest of us.
