Bidens definition of patriotic: Seizing property from U.S. citizens without constitutional mandate..So is the violation of your oath to uphold the constitution I take it.
Not only that but all those millions who came here with nothing and ventured out into the American wilderness with a horse and a rifle were also unpatriotic because they didn't NEED the government. I mean, how in the hell did they build this entire nation without our modern welfare system? They were just LUCKY I guesss, more fortunate, nobody, especially a minority can make it without benevolent collectivists to feed them and pat their heads. Any minority that has a job should immediately give Clinton a "Monica" in gratitude.
Dude,There was never a budget surplus during the Clinton years, they just created the illusion of one through fancy accounting tricks like off-budget expenditures and s**t like that. The deficit is a problem, but so long as you can keep the economy growing fast enough ti doesn't matter because other countries are fine with us having the debt. That being said, the Republicans did f**k up royally during the Bush years by never cutting spending and heavily expanding the welfare-entitlement complex - the largest and most powerful of the complexes, much more dangerous than the military-industrial one.Your claim about rich people is right, they should pay their share - but there is no moral ground for saying that just because they're rich they should be penalized with a higher percentage of their income being stolen. A flat-rate income tax that exempts savings and investment is the best and most moral type of tax if we're going to have one.
Government should cut spending and give EVERYONE a tax break. I agree with you that we shouldn't fight wars overseas but if you think that our tax money will be spent efficiently or properly, you're delusional. We're not going to be able to tax our way out of this problem. Punishing people for being successful is morally wrong.
