cnn.com — Although Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden routinely mocks his Republican counterpart, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, for her onetime support of the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere," Biden and his running mate voted to keep the project alive twice. What are the chances that this will make the front page?

You're joking, right? This probably won't make it anywhere. This is the Digg mentality:1. Does the article bash Palin? If yes, digg. If no, go to 2.2. Does the article bash McCain? If yes, digg. If no, go to 3.3. Does the article praise Obama? If yes, digg. If no, bury. Repeat.Notice how there's no spot for "read article" or "try to be remotely fair and unbiased"

They killed it because it would have mandated medical attention for babies surviving abortions ;)

Well, I don't know you, so you just might be fuller of it (?) than either McCain or Obama. However, I know that I am definitely less full of it than any of you three. Therefore, I am voting for myself. :)

No, that's crazy. It's important to know what each side has done and then we vote. We vote based not just upon rhetoric, but upon past actions. And extremism? You might have forgotten this, but dumping tea in the Boston harbor was not a genteel action.

I am not sure how this hurts Obama. It is McCain who paints himself as a crusader against earmarks. Then in a stroke of hypocrisy, picks a queen of earmarks as his running mate. All Obama campaign is trying to do is point out that hypocrisy. Obama himself appropriated earmarks for his state so that is not his campaign issue. McCain's goal to eliminate earmarks is admirable, however it ignores the fact that earmarks constitute 2-3% of the Federal Budget. Also his own party members are opposed to eliminating earmarks.

Obama in principle, is not opposed to earmarks. He appropriated funds for his state. However it is McCain who is crusading against earmarks. So it is hyprocritical for him to pick the queen of earmarks as his running mate.As George Will had pointed out earmarks is only 2-3% of the federal budget. Most of the Republicans themselves do not want to eliminate earmarks.
