nypost.com — First it's people under $250K that get a tax break. Then you hear it's less than $200K. Now, Joe Biden states people making less than $150K get a tax break. Say it ain't so, Joe. Which is it? Soon, it will be only be people who make less then $42K. See a pattern here people? Typical liberal lies. Tax and spend. Tax and spend.

Inaccurate: The Obama plan calls for tax cuts on income below $150,000. No change between $150,001 and $250,000. And a slight 2 or 3% increase on income above $250,000 but only applied to the part that is above $250,000. It's the same plan all along it's just that McCain and his camp never bothered to read it. So now it's a surprise to them because they didn't do their homework. Many supporters of McCain likewise didn't do their homework and this is news to them, too. Buried because the post is inaccurate. No tax increase on income between $150,001 and $250,000. Tax cuts on income below $150,000. Same plan all along you just weren't paying attention. If you're going to make an informed vote you need to study the plans offered by the candidates first. Otherwise you're just voting in the dark.

To insult Obama is to be a blatant racist.

http://encarta.msn.com/media_461544509/u_s_federal ...In 2000, there was roughly $1 trillion in personal income taxes collected, about half the total receipts (so, for the math impaired, $1 trillion in other sources came in).As recently as 1990, there were only about $1 trillion in TOTAL receipts.Ergo, eliminate the income tax entirely, use the 1990 budget, and not only do you have a balanced budget, you watch as the US economy grows at a 10% pace (or more).

I agree with Spuy767, the messiah is not to be questioned and neither apparently is Joey "Facelift".

Here's some *real* math. The Bailout that Obama and McCain supported was about 800 billion dollars. The USA has about 154 million employed workers. That comes to over $5000 per employee. Granted, people will probably pay it thru the inflation tax instead of the income tax, but only a f**ktard would believe that they are going to be in for less taxes over the next 4 years.
