npr.org — Twenty years ago, Michael Stephenson made his movie debut -- in Troll 2, a film widely praised as the worst of all time. Now, in the documentary Best Worst Movie, he chronicles what it's like to be involved in a cult hit so excruciatingly awful that it becomes a surprise smash.

Never realized Troll 2 was an anti-vegan allegory. NOW it all makes sense!

There's also a Plan 9 musical.

True enough, but that doesn't negate my comment. Troll 2 not having anything to do with troll 1 doesn't make troll 1 not worth watching for the awful acting/plot/effects.

Troll 2(A.K.A. should have been called Goblins because there was absolutely no mention of the word "Troll". Also in desperate need of a good writer, good actors and a continuity person)

I hold regular 'bad movie nights' with friends. Previous hits have included Howard the Duck, Transformers (1+2), Dungeons and Dragons, and so on.
