Well, if that's the reason, it makes me even more proud to be despised by you outsiders. Yes, I'm proud to self-identify as a state. Many, many years ago, I came home from my first day of 7th grade with a massive text book for my state history class. I complained about how big and heavy the book was, and my mom (who was born and raised in New York) explained to me how I should be proud of the fact that I was born in a place with such a diverse and colorful history that it required a textbook that size to cover it. That textbook never really seemed so heavy after that day.Yes I'm proud to be a Texan, and I'm proud of the rich history and heritage of my state. Being from one of the lesser states, I wouldn't expect you to understand.
Kirby lane resturant. Austin Texas. Ohh I miss you soo much. If California keeps this s**t up, I am moving back to Texas. Funny how I am home sick for Texas, and I am from California. Only worked there a short time, and fell in love the the people.
While Texas may have jobs.... pay is about 30% - 50% less down here & much of the infrastructure is 20 years behind the times, not to mention lacking in many civil services... so it's not all rosy down here... all depends on what you're used too. (I'm in Ft. Worth, near Dallas.... but am from Chicago originally)

I didn't make a big deal out of it. And papaJ - that's exactly the kind of reasoned, intelligent response I'd expect from a little kid...

Naw, I just like my women to be real women, not some transgendered cross-dressing mutant, but thanks for playing.

Austin has a lot of golf courses so there could be a lot of job opportunities related to that field. http://jobsinthegolfingindustry.blogspot.com
