Yeah you are right. I was a music major in college, and emphasis in guitar (changed majors though after couple of years). I play all styles, but I have to say this is one style I could never get a grip on. It's not the first person I have seen do it, but no doubt this kid is absolutely sick at playing this way.....this one is going in my vault =) Amazing stuff
Now, I'm a pretty musical person, I myself play the piano, djembe (google it if you want), saxophone (any of them), trombone and guitar. Now I only have a limited amount of playing experience and ability since I've been really into music for only about 2 or 3 years. But I do have to say, this is an extremely amazing solo, I really liked it. It was really awesome to see the rhythm and melody being played on a single guitar. He definitely uses some of the aspects of a guitar that aren't usually used. All I have to say is it is one of the more amazing things I've heard and seen on a guitar.Chris
He is really good, it is one of the best acoustic gutair solos that I've ever heard, and it reminds me of the movie "August Rush". Its a very good movie and the main charactors plays just like he does, but he doesn't use his fingernails.

He's very good on guitar, but Jordan Rivers is by far the best I have ever heard.http://jordanriversguitarforum.blogspot.com/
