I tried that --1. It's shareware. I'm not paying for it when iTunes works fine.2. It did something freaky to WMP. I plugged in my iPod and WMP quickly climbed to 1.8GB(!!!) of RAM usage. And people say iTunes is a memory hog =P
For the audio / video recovery. Just, under folder options on the windows platform, select "show hidden files",And your done. copy + paste to your compy. Id3 tags are a lifesaver

One thing I use all the time is a stream ripper, StationRipper <a class="user" href="http://www.stationripper.com">http://www.stationripper.com</a>Records my iTunes radio stations, usually can fill my nano up in a day or two, and then listen off line. Works great.
